See, you aren’t the only one that has felt this way. Even when David cried out to the Lord, David still felt alone. David had felt that God abandoned him.My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest. Did you know that even people in Biblical times felt alone? Here’s an example of this: I went ahead and compiled 5 Bible Verses to help remind you of this truth. Even when it feels like the world is stacked against you, God will ALWAYS be with you and He will ALWAYS love you. I want to remind you that you are never alone. This is why I want to encourage you with God’s Word. We typically forget God’s purpose for us, His promises, His plans, His faithfulness and so much more. However, during the middle of the storm, it’s a lot harder to see God’s faithfulness.
When we overcome storms in our lives, we typically see God’s faithfulness shine.
This world is full of corruption and it’s inevitable for us to face problems. I wish we never had to face these trials and tribulations, but we do. I didn’t put much faith and trust in God therefore, I felt like God had deserted me. I remember looking back at these times and realizing that I was trying to face all my problems alone. I can’t tell you how many times that I have cried out to God saying, “Are you even with me anymore.” Looking back at these moments, I realize that my faith in God was miniscule and I didn’t trust God’s plan for me. During this time, it feels like we are trapped, lost, confused, and alone. There are so many challenges that we have to overcome and it feels like we are never prepared for them. Let’s face it, living on this earth is hard. In this post, I’m going to remind you that God is always with you, even when you feel like He has deserted you (which He never will).
There are going to be times where nothing is going our way and we will feel like God has deserted us. Have you ever felt alone? So alone that it doesn’t feel like God is even with you? I have felt this before also and I know many other Christians have.
